Multi Tasking Assistant Full Time

Broadline Recruiters are hiring for a Full Time Multi Tasking Assistant in a Nursing Home in Meath

This position does not suit people holding Stamp 2 visas due to restrictions

Requirements:

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent English both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt to working in new Healthcare environment
• Must have a minimum two work references.
• Valid work permits to work full time in Ireland with no restrictions. 
• Candidates should have a positive, friendly and committed approach to your work.

Responsibilities:

Kitchen duties such as:

• Ensuring all kitchen areas, utensils, crockery and equipment are clean and organised
• General assistance in the kitchen – stock control and storage, deliveries, goods in and goods out and other duties assigned by the Head Chef / Kitchen Manager.
• Pot wash and deep cleaning the kitchen area, including floors, walls, surfaces & equipment
• Adhering to hygiene, health and safety and HACCP regulations.
• Kitchen waste and recyclables management
• Assisting the Chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required
• Ability to be a team player, supporting other members of the kitchen staff as well.
• Have a friendly and professional manner towards clients and colleagues.

Housekeeping duties such as:

• Day to day cleaning of allocated areas in the Nursing Home.
• Daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, wards, corridors, public areas, living areas, windows and waste disposal areas, following daily cleaning routines.

• Domestic and hazardous waste management; ensure bins are collected, cleaned and kept in a hygienic manner at all times.
• Deep cleaning and following instructions in this process.

• Dusting, Vacuuming, mopping and using the buffer daily.
• Changing residents’ bed sheets and pillowcases.
• Daily cleaning of all non-clinical areas while following Nursing Home procedures.
• Replenish cleaning materials and chemicals when required.
• Working closely with the infection control teams and other members of the household teams following all Nursing Home guidelines
