Reservations Agent

Location: Dublin West

Salary: Depending on Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Have complete knowledge of the hotel and the products and services it offers.
• To take reservations via the telephone, email and in-house reservations in an efficient and courteous manner, requesting all information needed to make the booking and secure payment details.
• To record all reservation details accurately.
• Ensure to secure all required information for reservations.
• To record and process deposit information on group and individual reservations ensuring that credit applications are in place.
• Record any special billing requirements on group and individual reservations.
• Record all operational details required from group arrival to group departure.
• To be confident in making block bookings for groups, ensuring all billing is routed correctly.
• To be aware of current room status and room availability, throughout the shift.

 Candidate:

• A minimum of 1 year experience working in a busy front office or reservations department in a hotel is essential.
• Previous experience working with hotel systems.
• Be initiative-taking with an ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion and possess strong attention to detail.
• Possess a good ability to multitask.
