FullTime Permanent Household Assistant West Dublin Full Time NEW

Broadline Recruiters are hiring experienced Household Assistant to join a professional and friendly team to work in a Nursing Home in West Dublin.

This position does not suit people holding Stamp 2 visas due to restrictions

Requirements:

• Must have at least TWO years’ experience working in Hospital / Nursing Home/ settings or come from a high-volume cleaning background such as hotels
• Excellent English both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt to working in new Healthcare environment
• Must have a minimum two work references.
• Valid work permits to work full time in Ireland with no restrictions. 
• Must have flexible working hours
• Candidates should have a positive, friendly and committed approach to your work.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day cleaning of allocated areas in the Nursing Home.
• Daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, wards, corridors, public areas, living areas, windows and waste disposal areas, following daily cleaning routines.

• Domestic and hazardous waste management; ensure bins are collected, cleaned and kept in a hygienic manner at all times.
• Deep cleaning and following instructions in this process.

• Dusting, Vacuuming, mopping and using the buffer daily.
• Changing residents’ bed sheets and pillowcases.
• Daily cleaning of all non-clinical areas while following Nursing Home procedures.
• Replenish cleaning materials and chemicals when required.
• Working closely with the infection control teams and other members of the household teams following all Nursing Home guidelines
• Ability to work efficiently and keep calm under pressure.
• Adhering to hygiene, health and safety, HACCP guidelines.

• Have a friendly and professional manner towards residents, visitors and colleagues.
