Healthcare Assistant Full Time NEW

We are hiring an experienced HCA to join a professional and friendly team. You will have an opportunity to work in a fantastic Nursing home in West Dublin.

Requirements:

• Must have at least Two years’ experience working in a Nursing Home setting
• Excellent English both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt to working in new Healthcare environment
• Good knowledge of HIQA
• Valid work permits to work full time in Ireland with no restrictions. 
• Must be flexible with working hours.
• Candidates should have a positive and committed approach to your work.
• QQ1 level 5 in Healthcare support or related field
• Reliable, caring and passionate
• Ability to take initiative with their work
• Experience working with care for the elderly

Responsibilities:

• Provision of care to the resident under guidelines of the registered nurse
• Maintain the comfort and dignity of residents
• Closely monitor vulnerable residents and report any concerns
• Assist in the delivery of end of life care
• Assist in the promotion of continence
• To carry out assisnged and delegated tasks involving direct care and all activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse/supervisor
• Maintain the comfort and care for residents
• Adhere to infection control and use of personal equipment in all care, cleaning and hygiene duties
