We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Night Manager to join the housekeeping team in a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Dublin City.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced night auditor who enjoys leading by example and is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of guest service and hotel night operations.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day overnight management of the Hotel night team, ensuring guest inquiries, check-ins & check-outs and night audits are maintained to the highest standards. You will support the team with training, night audits, staff coordination, and maintaining efficient departmental operations while helping to create a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for every guest.

The ideal candidate will have previous night audit experience within a hotel, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel throughout the night.
• Act as the senior Manager on Duty and make operational decisions in the absence of senior daytime management.
• Allocate daily work assignments and monitor team productivity throughout each shift. Supervising and leading the Night Team, including Night Porters and Security personnel where applicable.
• Support the recruitment, induction, training, and development of team members. Monitoring staff performance, presentation, punctuality and adherence to hotel procedures
• Conduct regular hotel walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, presentation, security and operational standards are maintained.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve guest-related issues in a professional and timely manner. Dealing confidently with difficult or intoxicated guests while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
• Oversee late check-ins, early check-outs, room moves, upgrades and guest requests

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Night auditor, Night Manager, Duty Manager or senior Front Office role within a 4-star or similar hotel environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in hotel operations, preferably with Front Office/night operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office procedures, night audit, cash handling and hotel systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Strong computer skills and experience with PMS/Front Office systems; experience with Opera or similar systems would be advantageous.
• Experience working in a busy city-center or nightlife environment would be highly advantageous.
