Our Client is looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Restaurant Manager based in Kildare

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Will oversee the full day to day running of the fine dining restaurant.
• Lead from the front, showing the best example of service and quality.
• Oversee all reports sent to owner such as end of day reports, wastage etc.
• Liaise with owners to ensure the restaurant is staying on course to achieve given targets.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
• Promoting and marketing the business.
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
• Training and supervising staff.
• Assessing and improving profitability.

Candidate:

• Restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner and is closed every Monday and Tuesday.
• A minimum of 2 years in senior management in a restaurant in Ireland.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service and customer focus.
• A real motivator, someone who can drive their team to be the best.
• Excellent food, beverage and wine knowledge desired.
• A finger on the pulse of the most up-to-date trends in both food and beverage.
• Strong commercial knowledge in all aspects of the business.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
