Temporary Receptionist Clare Temporary NEW

Our client based in County Clare is currently seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is a front-office position and requires a candidate who is highly professional, friendly, organised, and confident when dealing with clients and visitors.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
• Act as the first point of contact for the company, providing a high standard of customer service.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Manage the reception area, ensuring it is kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Sign visitors in and out and notify relevant staff of their arrival.
• Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers.
• Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms and appointments as required.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider team.
• Assist with filing, data entry, photocopying, scanning, and other administrative duties.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure information is handled confidentially.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years’ experience in an Administration role is required.
• Certificate (Level 5) in Business Administration or relevant field is desirable but not essential
• Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work on your own and use your own initiative.
• Experience in Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.is required.
• Experience in the application of DBS tools (Lean Techniques) towards the continuous improvement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity would be an advantage.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Confident dealing with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Able to work in a busy environment while staying organised and professional.

This position is available immediately and requires candidates to commence employment immediately.

Location: Co. Clare

Salary: €15 an hour
