Tyre Technician – Cork

Broadline Recruiters are currently seeking an experienced Tyre Technician on behalf of our client, based in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable Tyre Technician to join an established team and become part of a growing business. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within the tyre or automotive industry, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess car and truck tyres for overall condition and quality.
• Grade tyres according to established quality and safety standards.
• Identify damage, excessive wear, punctures, cracks, bulges, and other defects.
• Sort tyres into the appropriate grades and categories.
• Assess tread depth and general tyre condition.
• Identify tyres suitable for reuse, retreading, or disposal.
• Ensure all tyres are handled and stored safely.
• Maintain accurate records of graded and inspected tyres.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production and quality targets.
• Communicate any quality or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience within the tyre, automotive, recycling, or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of car and truck tyres.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects.
• Good understanding of tyre safety and quality standards.
• Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling.

Salary
