Van Sales Representative Sligo Full Time NEW

At Broadline, we’re currently recruiting for a Van Sales Representative to join a client of ours. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, building strong relationships and driving sales. You’ll manage an existing customer base, look for new sales opportunities, introduce customers to new products and ensure they receive a high level of service. The position combines sales, delivery and customer relationship management, making every day varied and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and sell the Freshways range of products to customers across your assigned area.
• Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with existing customers.
• Look for opportunities to grow the customer base and win new business within your territory.
• Work towards and achieve agreed weekly sales and performance goals.
• Introduce customers to new products, promotions and seasonal ranges.
• Ensure products are displayed to a high standard and make the most of available shelf space.
• Keep up to date with competitor activity and provide valuable feedback on customer and market trends.
• Accurately complete paperwork and keep all company systems and records up to date.
• Work in line with company policies, procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements.
• Assist with the training and support of new Van Sales Representatives when needed.
• Keep the company van, equipment and sales materials clean, organised and well maintained.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Confident communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Well organised, with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage your daily workload effectively.
• Self-driven and dependable, with the confidence to work independently and use your own initiative.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and completing routine administrative tasks.
• Good standard of both written and spoken English.
• An interest in food, retail and changing consumer preferences, with a willingness to learn about new products.

Education & Experience

• A full, clean driving licence is essential for this position.
• Previous experience in van sales, field sales or a similar customer-facing role would be an advantage.
• A good understanding of commercial sales, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and growing revenue.

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekend work may be required

Salary & Benefits

• €29,432 base salary per annum
• Commission structure in place
• Lunch allowance provided
