Food and Beverage Manager Full Time

Role Purpose

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall operation, performance and profitability of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. This includes restaurants, bars, banqueting and room service, ensuring consistently high standards of service, food quality, guest experience and team performance.

Key Responsibilites

• Food and Beverage Manager will ensure the efficient daily running of the Weddings & Events operation to 5-Star hotel standards.
• Food and Beverage Manager will always maintain brand standards
• Food and Beverage Manager will supervise, mentor, develop and train team members to department standards
• Food and Beverage Manager will deal with all customer requests and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Food and Beverage Manager will ensure cash and always stock control in the food & beverage outlet under management
• Food and Beverage Manager will assist in achieving departmental revenue and cost targets
• Food and Beverage Manager will ensure the hotel mission and core values are always maintained
• Food and Beverage Manager will liaise with sales in maximising sales for the Weddings & Events department
• Food and Beverage Manager will adhere to HACCP and health and safety procedures
• Food and Beverage Manager will assist or manage daily operations in the main hotel as required

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent attention to detail and 2 years previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager in a high-volume wedding venue and/ or hotel
• Excellent people management skills and ability to motivate the team
• Knowledge of cash and stock control systems
• Spoken and written English is essential
