Pastry Chef De Partie Full Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our fine-dining pastry team. Working within a highly professional and creative kitchen environment, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a range of high-quality pastry, dessert, and confectionery items to exacting standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a genuine passion for pastry, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a demanding professional kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, finish, and present pastry and dessert items to the highest standards.

• Work closely with the Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef, and wider kitchen team to deliver consistent, creative dishes.

• Maintain excellent standards of flavour, texture, presentation, and portion control.

• Prepare mise en place for daily service and ensure all sections are fully stocked and organised.

• Assist with the production of breads, viennoiserie, petit fours, chocolates, ice creams, sorbets, plated desserts, and other pastry preparations as required.

• Follow recipes and specifications accurately while maintaining consistency across every service.

• Contribute ideas and creativity to the development of new desserts and pastry items.

• Ensure all products are stored correctly and labelled in accordance with food safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic pastry section at all times.

• Follow HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and allergen procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a professional pastry kitchen, preferably within a fine-dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-end bakery.

• Strong understanding of classical and contemporary pastry techniques.

• Experience with plated desserts, chocolate, ice cream, sorbet, viennoiserie, and petit fours is desirable.
