Conference and Banqueting Manager Full Time

Role Purpose

The Conference & Banqueting Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of all conferences, meetings, banquets, weddings, private functions and corporate events. The role requires strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure every event is delivered to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of all conferences, banquets, weddings, meetings and private events.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Conference & Banqueting team, ensuring appropriate staffing and high service standards.
• Work closely with clients and internal departments to ensure all event requirements are communicated and delivered effectively.
• Ensure excellent customer service throughout each event, handling queries, challenges and complaints professionally.
• Monitor departmental costs, staffing levels, stock and event profitability while identifying opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, health & safety, food safety and operational procedures at all times.

Essential

• Previous management or supervisory experience within conference and banqueting, hospitality, events or food & beverage.
• Proven experience delivering conferences, weddings, banquets or corporate events.
• Experience managing and motivating a team.
• Strong understanding of customer service and hospitality standards.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
